Course Objectives and Methodology

• The goal of this class is to introduce students to the business and science of greenhouse management emphasizing the greenhouse systems involved in commercial production of bedding plants, blooming plants, cut flowers and foliage plants. This will be achieved through classroom lectures, laboratory exercises, homework exercises, a group crop production project and a field trip.
