Course Objectives and Methodology

• This course is intended to introduce students to selected herbaceous plant materials suitable for use in outdoor landscaping and interiorscaping. The class will emphasize on site and pictorial identification, plant description, aesthetic qualities, garden uses, adaptability, culture, pest problems and propagation. Students will effectively communicate their knowledge of plant selection and utilization in the landscape.
